表達(dá)難點(diǎn)
1.第1句中的“生活在移動(dòng)互聯(lián)網(wǎng)時(shí)代”可處理為伴隨狀語(yǔ),用現(xiàn)在分詞短語(yǔ)livng in the mobile Internet age 來(lái)表達(dá)?!耙讶浑x不開(kāi)網(wǎng)絡(luò)”可譯為cannot live without the Internet,但由于句首已經(jīng)用到living,按英語(yǔ)避免重復(fù)的表達(dá)習(xí)慣,此處可譯為cannot be separated from the Internet now.
2.第3句中的定語(yǔ)“桂林一所大學(xué)的”較長(zhǎng),故將其處理成后置定語(yǔ),用介詞短語(yǔ)from a university in Guilin來(lái)表達(dá)?!白?cè)了一個(gè)微信送餐賬號(hào)”中,“微信”是一個(gè)網(wǎng)絡(luò)平臺(tái),表地點(diǎn),譯作on WeChat,置于中心詞“賬號(hào)”(account)后。定語(yǔ)“送餐”表目的,故用不定式短語(yǔ)來(lái)表達(dá),譯為to deliver meals.
3. 第4句“現(xiàn)在他們……,給同學(xué)……便利”有兩個(gè)分句,仔細(xì)分析發(fā)現(xiàn),后半句是前半句的結(jié)果,故可將后半句處理成結(jié)果狀語(yǔ),譯為分詞短語(yǔ)providing a lot of convenience to other students,結(jié)構(gòu)清晰明了。“同學(xué)們的生活”中的“生活”可略去不譯,只譯出“同學(xué)們”,不影響譯文的意思。
4.最后一句中的“更重要的是…可譯成短語(yǔ)What is more important或More importantly,或套用句型 What's more important is that…。培養(yǎng)了實(shí)踐能力”暗含動(dòng)作已完成,故應(yīng)該用現(xiàn)在完成時(shí),譯作they have cultivated their practical ability.
