Write an essay of 160-200 words based on the following drawing. In your essay, you should:
1) interpret the following pictures,     2) give your explanation to the phenomenon.





As is shown in the picture, the petroleum consumption has got a rapid increase since the year of 1993.


There had been a decrease in the reserve of crude oil.


It is symbolically revealed in the picture that the largest petroleum consumption probably just begin to loom.


We can see clearly that if we do not hold back the consumption of petroleum, our crude oil reserves will be used up very soon.

第一句根據(jù)圖表分析了石油消費(fèi)的增長(zhǎng)趨勢(shì)。
*句子剖析：as引導(dǎo)非限制性定語(yǔ)從句，主句為現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)態(tài)。
*petroleum consumption石油消費(fèi)；get an increase 增長(zhǎng)


第二句是根據(jù)圖表分析原油儲(chǔ)備的縮減趨勢(shì)。
*crude oil原油


第三句綜合分析圖表，揭示石油消費(fèi)看漲，引出圖表寓意。
*句子剖析：It is…that…強(qiáng)調(diào)句式，that主語(yǔ)從句。
*loom迫近，隱現(xiàn)


第四句是本段的結(jié)論句，提出人們所面臨的問(wèn)題：若不控制石油消費(fèi)，石油儲(chǔ)備會(huì)被消耗殆盡。
*句子剖析：句子主干為We can see that…。that引導(dǎo)see的賓語(yǔ)從句。該賓語(yǔ)從句為復(fù)合句， if引導(dǎo)條件狀語(yǔ)從句。

There are many reasons responsible for this phenomenon and the following are the typical ones.


The first reason is that the rapid economic development makes demand for petroleum increase continuously.
The second reason is that the modernization in industry, agriculture, national defense and science, definitely increases the petroleum consumption.
The third reason is that family cars are entering into Chinese family.

第一句是過(guò)渡段，引出出現(xiàn)圖表現(xiàn)象的原因。
*句子剖析：and連接的并列復(fù)合句；第一個(gè)單句的主干是there be句式，第二個(gè)分句是一個(gè)主系表結(jié)構(gòu)。
*be responsible for 為…負(fù)責(zé)；形成…的原因。
第二句是第一個(gè)原因：經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展增加石油需求量。
*make demand for…需求；


第二句是第二個(gè)原因：工、農(nóng)、國(guó)防、科學(xué)等方面增加了石油消費(fèi)。
*national defense國(guó)防


第三句式第三個(gè)原因：私家車。


Considering all these reasons, we need to take some positive measures.
On the one hand, our government ought to import more petroleum from other countries.
On the other hand, it is necessary for us to find other energy substitute for petroleum.
Only in this way, can we make a good preparation for the upcoming consumption peak.

第四句是本段的總結(jié)句，提出建議措施的必要性。
*句子剖析：Only表示“只有”在句首，后面的主句主謂倒裝。
*make a good preparation for…充分準(zhǔn)備…
