托福閱讀Summary題解題規(guī)律

      一、托福閱讀Summary題答題要求
　　這類題型考查考生對文章主要觀點(diǎn)及相對重要信息的理解和辨識能力。做題時(shí)，考生要在排除文中次要信息和未提及的信息后，選出文章的主要觀點(diǎn)。
　　文章總結(jié)題會給出6個(gè)選項(xiàng)，要求考生從中選出3個(gè)最能概括文章內(nèi)容的選項(xiàng)。在評分方面，文章總結(jié)題與基本信息題不同，后者每道題只得1分，而前者每道題2分。如果這道題沒有選對答案或只選對1個(gè)選項(xiàng)，不得分;如果這道題選對2個(gè)選項(xiàng)，得1分;如果這道題選對了3個(gè)選項(xiàng)，得2分。
　　二、托福閱讀Summary題解題技巧
　　1. 培訓(xùn)答案是支持文章主題的分論點(diǎn)，而不僅僅是文章中出現(xiàn)的一些細(xì)節(jié)。
　　2. 正確答案會綜合文章中的各個(gè)觀點(diǎn)，所以不會與文中的任何一句話完全相符。
　　3. 有些答案即使是在文章中被提到了，但也有可能是錯(cuò)誤的。因?yàn)樗倪壿嫴⒉灰恢隆?br /> 　　4. 要選出正確答案，考生需要在頭腦中形成文章的一個(gè)整體結(jié)構(gòu)框架，并記清文章主要觀點(diǎn)和其他重要信息，這對于解答此類問題非常重要。
　　三、托福閱讀Summary題例題解析
　　我們通過TPO5中一道具體的題目來分析一下如何解答Summary題。
　　Directions: An introductory sentence for a brief summary of the passage is provided below. Complete the summary by selecting the THREE answer choices that express the most important ideas in the passage. Some answer choices do not belong in the summary because they express ideas that are not presented in the passage or are minor ideas in the passage. This question is worth 2 points.
　　Plants need to absorb certain minerals from the soil in adequate quantities for normal growth and development.
　　Answer choices
　　○Some plants are able to accumulate extremely high levels of certain minerals and thus can be used to clean up soils contaminated with toxic levels of these minerals.

　　根據(jù)主旨句的意思來看，選項(xiàng)中一定含有植物生長、土壤里的礦物質(zhì)等相關(guān)信息。其中，選項(xiàng)4提到了某些礦物質(zhì)含量過高影響限制了植物生長，顯然不符合給出的主旨句的內(nèi)容，因此可以直接排除。隨后再看一下其它的選項(xiàng)，我們這里就需要分析文章結(jié)構(gòu)來核對文章信息。選項(xiàng)1的內(nèi)容出現(xiàn)在文章第五段和第六段。第五段大意為，某些植物集中礦物質(zhì);第六段大意為，利用這些植物來清理土壤。選項(xiàng)1恰好概括了這兩段的內(nèi)容，因此為正確選項(xiàng)。選項(xiàng)2的內(nèi)容出現(xiàn)在文章第四段的首句，而第四段首句正是這個(gè)段落的中心句，我們發(fā)現(xiàn)內(nèi)容一致，因此也為正確選項(xiàng)。選項(xiàng)3的內(nèi)容出現(xiàn)在文章的第二、第三段，即mineral deficiency有各種各樣的癥狀。選項(xiàng)5的內(nèi)容是文章中完全沒有提到的，因此也要排除。選項(xiàng)6的內(nèi)容，出現(xiàn)在文章的第三段，但是描述的是氣培法，并不是解決植物缺乏礦物質(zhì)的方法，因此是錯(cuò)誤選項(xiàng)，所以要排除。按照以上的步驟，這道題就可以迎刃而解了。
