對(duì)于Part 2，劍橋的官方定義是“'In Part 2，the examiner gives you a topic card. You have one minute to prepare and make notes. Then you'II be required to talk about the topic for one to two minutes.”下面來(lái)讓我們看一下“深度解析雅思口語(yǔ)part 2的實(shí)質(zhì)”
不過(guò)現(xiàn)在在很多考點(diǎn)考官其實(shí)都已經(jīng)不再是發(fā)一個(gè)card了，而是發(fā)一張大紙，上面在一個(gè)很小的角落上印著一個(gè)topic和幾點(diǎn)提示。
Part 2的本質(zhì)是要你做一個(gè)description(描述)o為了更充分地理解什么是“description”，您可以回想一下自己小時(shí)候上語(yǔ)文課的時(shí)候，老師向你描述一個(gè)事物時(shí)和老師平時(shí)說(shuō)話有什么不同o
與“閑聊”至少有下面三個(gè)不同
☆描述時(shí)一定會(huì)有適當(dāng)?shù)乃伎己屯ｎD( pause)。
l 我們說(shuō)過(guò),Part 1基本可以看成是chat，但是有些考生在Part 2因?yàn)檎糜龅娇梢哉{(diào);動(dòng)自己準(zhǔn)備過(guò)的答案(a prepared speech)，就直接把答案無(wú)比流暢地背出來(lái)o這明顯i {不符合正常入描述的習(xí)慣
☆描述需要有一定的規(guī)劃，需要有秩序
“描述”需要更加精確的語(yǔ)言o而且和Part 1與Part 3不同，Part 2需要在同一個(gè)話題的不同方面之間做數(shù)次轉(zhuǎn)換，所以對(duì)答案的秩序性要求要高一些。過(guò)既然是口語(yǔ)，畢竟與寫作的嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)度要求不同，所以也不用太呆板( rigid)。
☆句式會(huì)有一些變億(variations)，但是并不會(huì)像Part1的chat那么多樣(diversified)。
i這一點(diǎn)聽起來(lái)可能不好理解，但其實(shí)您自己試著用母語(yǔ)描述一個(gè)話題，1—2分鐘你馬上就會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)其中的奧秘：這1，2分鐘的過(guò)程并不是互動(dòng)( interaction)，而只是你自己一個(gè)人的獨(dú)自，不像Part 1那樣有考官不斷給你信息的反饋(feedback)和新的提問(wèn)(follow-up.questions)，所以你就不必再為了回應(yīng)新信息去不停地修改你的句式了。
比如下面這道題是<劍8)test 1的Part 2：
Describe a time when you were asked to give
your opinion in a questionnaire or survey.
You should say:
what the questionnaire/survey was about
why you were asked to give your opinions
what opinions you gave
and explain how you felt about giving your
opinions in this questionnaire/survey.
下面這個(gè)則是<劍8>test 2的Part 2：
Describe a restaurant that you enjoyed going to.
You should say:
where the restaurant was
why you chose this restaurant
what type of food you ate in this restaurant
and explain what you enjoyed about this party.
再比如下面幾個(gè)卡片話題也都是近期?？嫉模?/span>
◆Describe an experience you had with bad weather.
◆Describe a restaurant.
◆Describe something interesting that you did recently.
◆Describe a foreign film.
◆Describe a person you have learned from.
◆Describe an interesting place that is open to the public.
◆Describe a celebrity you admire.
◆Describe a song you like.
◆Describe an occasion when you listened to foreign music.
◆Describe a conversation you had on the phone.
