雅思口語(yǔ)考試對(duì)于很多烤鴨們而言就像是道難過(guò)的坎,特別是在考試緊張的環(huán)境下,很多中國(guó)考生一不小心各式的中式英語(yǔ)就會(huì)隨口而出,然而渾然無(wú)察覺(jué)的考生仍深陷在自以為回答得“很不錯(cuò)”的滿足里,卻不知考官已默默地給你打了個(gè)低分了。
雖然不少考生已經(jīng)學(xué)習(xí)了很長(zhǎng)時(shí)間的英語(yǔ),但是說(shuō)過(guò)的Chinglish仍然不勝枚舉。究其原因,還是思維的問(wèn)題?;卮鹂脊俚膯?wèn)題時(shí),答案容易毫無(wú)邏輯,雜亂無(wú)章,觀點(diǎn)片面狹隘,無(wú)不暴露著思維局限,眼光短淺的缺點(diǎn),這樣的情況下考官能給高分嗎?

隨機(jī)挑選口語(yǔ)第 一和第三部分都會(huì)出現(xiàn)的一類問(wèn)題:What’s the most popular sport in your country?
可能大部分考生會(huì)給出這樣的答案: “Well, the most popular sport in China is basketball, because people can develop their fitness and make a lot of friends when playing basketball.”
首先,你這樣說(shuō)的依據(jù)是…?請(qǐng)大家先問(wèn)自己這幾個(gè)問(wèn)題:
1. 我給的答案結(jié)果是自己認(rèn)為的還是**調(diào)查來(lái)的?
2. 這個(gè)答案適用于全國(guó)范圍嗎?有限制條件嗎?比如說(shuō)男女?老少?如果你的答案是自認(rèn)為的,并且不適用于全國(guó)范圍,那么你的答案聽起來(lái)就是邏輯性低、思維局限、目光短淺。因?yàn)檫@個(gè)問(wèn)題需要我們合乎邏輯并且全面地分析和回答。
其次,上述回答還反應(yīng)了一個(gè)中國(guó)考生典型的缺點(diǎn)---答案太籠統(tǒng)。
缺乏細(xì)節(jié)是我們**常提的一點(diǎn)。上面的答案中,貌似是回答了一個(gè)原因來(lái)闡述這個(gè)現(xiàn)象,但其實(shí)“people can develop their fitness”這樣的表達(dá)放在哪個(gè)題哪個(gè)運(yùn)動(dòng)都可以不是嗎?為什么就能解釋籃球**受歡迎了呢?
所以,雅思考試中,我們需要盡量避免中式思維,如何避免呢?
1、盡量細(xì)分情況討論,體現(xiàn)問(wèn)題全面性
就剛剛這道題目而言,我們完全可以分不同的情況來(lái)討論不同的結(jié)果。就像我們前面提到的,這個(gè)問(wèn)題與年齡有關(guān)嗎?與性別有關(guān)嗎?與地區(qū)有關(guān)嗎?如果有,那么我們分情況來(lái)討論,比如:
Well, I think it varies. It depends on age and gender of Chinese people we are talking about here. If it is for young girls, I would say they are more in favor of some mild and soft sports like yoga. But if it is for young guys, I guess playing basketball and football is the most popular choice. Now, if we are talking about the elders, I believe the most preferred sport among males is gate ball as I see in many public parks while the most popular one among females would definitely be line-dancing.
我們來(lái)看下答案分析,首先“it varies”表示情況是不一樣的。然后接著表示這個(gè)題可以根據(jù)年齡和性別來(lái)分情況討論。再之后就分四種情況進(jìn)行回答。這樣的答案,我們聽起來(lái),才不會(huì)認(rèn)為這個(gè)考生是信口開河,不思考,無(wú)邏輯。當(dāng)然,這個(gè)答案并沒(méi)有給出一些具體的原因,所以就給考官留了個(gè)把話題接下去的機(jī)會(huì)。
2、 避免通用語(yǔ)料,具體化答案是關(guān)鍵
就剛剛前面提到的“people can develop their fitness”這樣的表達(dá),通用但不具體。如果想要符合考官的要求,我們需要把討論的體育運(yùn)動(dòng)以及其影響具體化。
比如swimming可以develops and strengthens the muscles surrounding the knees without impact; biking可以develops strength, balance, and overall fitness; running可以strengthens the heart, lungs, and lower-body muscles and bones以及helps burn up calories。
這些都是能具體體現(xiàn)不同運(yùn)動(dòng)的好處的。而這樣的回答才是有效的,有用的。

1. As part of education, students should spend a period of time studying and living in a different country to learn its language and culture. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
審題:
題目翻譯:作為教育的一部分,學(xué)生應(yīng)該要花一段時(shí)間去海外學(xué)習(xí)和生活來(lái)學(xué)習(xí)當(dāng)?shù)氐恼Z(yǔ)言和文化。你多大程度上同意或不同意?
