本次新四級(jí)考試是歷史上第二次正式的考試，新四六級(jí)考試作文放在第一部分進(jìn)行考查，其用意其一是為了保證考生有足夠的時(shí)間和精力把作文寫好，讓閱卷老師可以更清晰地評(píng)判考生的真正的英語寫作水平;其二便是可以有效防止舊四級(jí)考試的考生從閱讀部分照搬一些表達(dá)于作文之中使用的情況出現(xiàn)。作文考試在第一部分考給我們帶來的另外一點(diǎn)好處是，在發(fā)下答題卡1后，考生可在答題卡1上直接看到作文題目，一般的考場都會(huì)提前5~10分鐘發(fā)答題卡，讓考生有足夠時(shí)間進(jìn)行填涂答題卡，這部分時(shí)間如果利用得當(dāng)，則可額外獲得3~5分鐘的寶貴的作文構(gòu)思時(shí)間。另外，作文要求用黑色簽字筆寫作，這就意外著涂改十分不便，考生平時(shí)練習(xí)時(shí)要盡可能注意提高寫作時(shí)表達(dá)一步到位的能力，以免在卷面上不斷進(jìn)行涂改，影響閱卷老師的總體印象。

本次的題目要求考生writing an announcementfor welcome students to join a club. 從作文形式和選題來看，與以往四六級(jí)考試一貫延續(xù)的出題思路并無差別。文章采用的是提綱式作文，給出的三點(diǎn)提綱：
