錢不是萬能的：
1. Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money, but you cannot get more time.
時(shí)間比金錢有價(jià)值多了，你能有更多的錢，卻不能有更多的時(shí)間。
2. If you want to know what God thinks about money, just look at the people He gives it to.
如果你想知道上帝對錢的看法，只要去看看那些他給了錢的人就知道了。
3. Make money your god and it will plague you like the devil.
如果你把錢奉為上帝，它就會(huì)像魔鬼一樣折磨你。
4. Money is only a tool. It will take you wherever you wish, but it will not replace you as the driver.
錢只是個(gè)工具，它能帶你到任何你想去的地方，卻永遠(yuǎn)不會(huì)讓你成為司機(jī)。
5. Money will buy you a fine dog, but only love can make it wag its tail.
有錢就能買只可愛的狗，但是有愛才能讓它對你搖尾巴。
沒錢是萬萬不能的：
1. Money, if it does not bring you happiness, will at least help you be miserable in comfort.
錢如果沒有給你帶來幸福，至少也能讓你在舒適中痛苦。
2. Money is not the most important thing in the world. Love is. Fortunately, I love money.
錢可不是世界上最重要的，世界上最重要的是愛。幸運(yùn)的是：我愛錢。
3. If you would know the value of money, go and try to borrow some.
如果你想知道錢的價(jià)值，就試試去借錢吧。
4. A penny saved is a penny earned.
省錢就是掙錢。
5. The safest way to double your money is to fold it over and put it in your pocket.
最安全的讓錢翻倍的方法就是把它折起來，放在口袋里。
6. Money is the opposite of the weather. Nobody talks about it, but everybody does something about it.
金錢和天氣正好相反：沒有人談?wù)撍?，而人人都在做著和它有關(guān)的事兒。
7. It doesn't matter if you're black or white...the only color that really matters is green.
你是白人還是黑人并不重要，唯一重要的顏色是綠色。
關(guān)于錢的其他真相：
1. A bank is a place that will lend you money if you can prove that you don't need it.
銀行就是只有你能證明不是真的需要錢，它才會(huì)借給你錢的地方。
2. Money often costs too much.
錢太貴了。
3. Too many people spend money they haven't earned, to buy things they don't want, to impress people they don't like.
太多的人花費(fèi)他們還沒有掙到的錢，去買他們不想要的東西，來取悅他們不喜歡的人。
4. If you pay peanuts, you get monkeys.
種花生，得猴子。
