1 You look concerned. What’s on your mind 你看上去有點(diǎn)心思沉沉，在擔(dān)心什么呢?

2 I’ve got to quiet down and get focused. 我該冷靜下來(lái)，集中注意力。

3 I know he has the blues(He is feeling very down!), but it doesn’t mean he can vent his anger on me. 我知道他心情不好，但他也不能把氣發(fā)在我身上呀。the blues 心情不好，If a girl is sad, an ice-cream cone can normally chase the blues away. 如果女孩心情不好的話(huà)，給她一個(gè)冰淇淋，她就會(huì)轉(zhuǎn)哭為笑了。也可說(shuō)，an ice-cream cone can normally help shake off the blues.

4 I’m up to my neck in work.這句話(huà)的意思就是I am quite busy. 我太忙了，這工作把我忙得暈頭轉(zhuǎn)向。I have got a pretty tight schedule today. 我今天的日程安排得很緊。

5 Easy! 悠著點(diǎn);不要性急;輕一點(diǎn);也可以說(shuō)：Go easy. Go easy on it(省著點(diǎn)用). Easy-going, 很容易相處：She is caring and easy-going.

6 Crush 原意為“粉碎”，現(xiàn)常指“暗戀”，又常指青澀少年的那種愛(ài)，并不穩(wěn)定，例如，小女生對(duì)老師的愛(ài)戀，過(guò)一陣就煙消云散。Peter has a crush on Jenny.

7 Ask somebody out 與人約會(huì)，談戀愛(ài)：He doesn’t have the guts to ask her out because he is afraid she will turn him down. 他不敢告訴她他愛(ài)她，因?yàn)樗聲?huì)遭到她的拒絕。類(lèi)似的有g(shù)o out with somebody: I heard you’re going out with Jane. 我聽(tīng)說(shuō)了你在與Jane談戀愛(ài)。

8 Mr. Right: 白馬王子，He’s gentle, patient, successful, and MATURE. I think He’s my Mr. Right! 他溫柔體貼，有耐心，成功又成熟。我知道他就是我的意中人(我未來(lái)的丈夫非他莫屬;也可以說(shuō)是真命天子)。(白馬王子的另一個(gè)說(shuō)法：prince charming)

9 Jack 對(duì)朋友John說(shuō)，他剛剛與Esther拜拜了，(I just broke up with Esther.)John 安慰Jack說(shuō), I don’t know what to say to comfort you, but cheer up! There’s plenty of fish in the sea and you’ll find your soul mate, your perfect match!

10 My relationship with her is already history.我與她的關(guān)系早已成歷史了。
