1. 活該! serves you(him,her) right! = you deserve (he/she deserves it.) e.g you failed the test? serves you right for not studying!

2. 活該! you had it coming!

a: i gained weight! b: well, you had it coming, because you've been eating so much without exercising.

3. 胡鬧 that’s monkey business!

e.g. a: stop fooling around! that’s monkey business! 別再混日子了!你根本在胡鬧嘛!

注：本句也可把monkey當(dāng)成動(dòng)詞說(shuō)成“stop monkeying around!”

3.請(qǐng)便! help yourself.

do as you please. (表示不需準(zhǔn)許而可取東西，就是請(qǐng)客人自在點(diǎn)，不必太拘束。)

4.哪有? what do you mean? not at all!

注：如果只說(shuō)“what do you mean?”那是不帶任何用意的問(wèn)句，只是想問(wèn)清楚對(duì)方的意思;但是它也可用于挑釁及威脅，代表不滿對(duì)方表達(dá)的意見(jiàn)。若加上“not at

all”，表示你在否認(rèn)對(duì)方表達(dá)的意思。

5.才怪! yeah，right!

as if!

e.g. a: today’s test was very easy.

b: yeah, right!

a:he thinks he can socialize with us! as if! 他自認(rèn)可以跟我們交往! 才

怪!

注：“yeah，right”常用于諷刺性的回答。“as if”大多是10到17歲女孩的用語(yǔ)。

6.加油! go for it!

e.g. a: go for it! you can do it!

注：這是鼓勵(lì)他人的話，也就是“give it a good try.”“try your best.”。

7.夠了! enough!

stop it!

注：也可以加強(qiáng)語(yǔ)氣說(shuō)“enough is enough!”。要是對(duì)方正在fooling around(

無(wú)所事事)，你會(huì)罵他“enough of this foolishness!”(混夠了吧!)

8.放心! i got your back.

e.g. a: don’t worry, man. i got your back.

注：這句原本來(lái)自“i’m covering you from behind”(我在后面掩護(hù)你)，是打仗

時(shí)軍人常說(shuō)的一句話。但在現(xiàn)代的意思是我會(huì)照料一切，要對(duì)方不必?fù)?dān)心，所以這句男

人會(huì)常用，女人反而較少用。

9.愛(ài)現(xiàn)! showoff!

e.g. a： he’s been doing that all day. what a showoff!

注：showoff是名詞，也可作動(dòng)詞，如：she likes to show off her toys. 或he is

always showing off his strength.

10.討厭! so annoying!

e.g. a: stop that! you are so annoying! 夠了!你真討厭!

11.免談! no need to discuss!(no need for discussion.)

e.g. a: it’s all settled. there’s no need to discuss it anymore. 全都確

定了。所以就免談了!

12.真棒! that’s great!

13.好險(xiǎn)! that was close!

e.g. a: i’m so glad you made it. that was close!

注：這里的close是很接近、幸好的意思，和開(kāi)門(mén)關(guān)門(mén)(open and close)的close不同 。

14.閉嘴! shut up!

15.好爛! it sucks!

e.g. a: that sucks. don’t buy it.

注：這句話可用來(lái)形容人、事物的狀況令人失望或十分不理想。
