考研英語重點句型分析：“比較結(jié)構(gòu)”

D. 技巧點撥：本題考查的是no more than 的變體not…any more than，這兩個結(jié)構(gòu)都是表示兩個事物之間的類比關(guān)系，由上下文可判斷這里類比的對象是his primary task和businessman。該結(jié)構(gòu)表示兩者都否定。因此，主句需要否定，譯為“他的主要任務(wù)不是……”，而且從句里謂語is expected是肯定形式，但翻譯時一定要譯成否定“不能指望”。
