It's been raining all day today! The rain is coming down so hard!

今天下了一天的雨！雨太大了！

I konw, It's raining cats and dogs today!

我知道，今天真是瓢潑大雨啊?。╮aining cats and dogs）

This is a very common expression in American English.

這是美語中的一個很常見的表達(dá)。

When you say that it's "raining cats and dogs" in a conversation, it's another way to say it's "raining very hard" or it's "raining a lot".

當(dāng)你在對話中說“raining cats and dogs（下貓下狗）”，意思是“雨下的很大”，“下了很大的雨”。

You can use this expression anytime and everybody will understand you!

你可以隨時使用這個表達(dá)，大家都會明白你的意思。
