Let's take a look at this conversation:

What's up? How are you?

This phrase is a casual expression and is normally used when you're talking to friends, family, or colleagues.
這是一個(gè)日常短語，一般用于朋友、家人、同事之間。
You would not want to use it in a formal or business situation.
不能在正式場合和商務(wù)場合使用。
"What's up?" is a greeting.
“近來怎樣？”（what's up? ）是問候語。
It's a different way of saying "What's happening?"
這是“發(fā)生什么了？”另外一種表達(dá)方式。
When you ask someone "What's up?" in a conversation, it's another way to say: hello, ask how things are going, how the person is feeling.
當(dāng)你問某人“近來怎樣？”（what's up? ），意思是說：你好，事情進(jìn)展得怎么樣了，心情怎么樣。
It's a common greeting used by just about everybody in America!
